Andrea is the owner and creative visionary behind Ruby & Clover Hairdressing, a boutique salon in Downtown Rochester, Michigan known for its refined artistry, elevated craft, and community-centered culture. With 30 years in the industry, Andrea now balances her work behind the chair with shaping the future of the hairdressing industry—cultivating a brand built on education, artistry, and intentional care. 

Her specialties include custom tone on tone color, effortless lived-in balayage, Grey Conversions and Grey Blending and the precision bob, a signature cut she has become widely known for throughout her career. Andrea’s work is grounded in the belief that beauty should honor self-care and self-love, especially for the modern, aging woman seeking hair that feels timeless, natural, and uniquely her own. She has also expanded her craft into the ritual of Japanese Head Spa, completing advanced training through Milbon USA New York Academy to bring a restorative, sensory wellness experience to her guests. 

Andrea’s professional foundation includes national and international training with industry leaders such as L’Oréal Professionnel, Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, and Moroccanoil. As a L’Oréal-certified balayage artist and lifelong student of the craft, education remains the heart of her leadership. 

She works closely and intentionally with Ruby & Clover’s Education Director to continually evolve the salon’s education pathway, ensuring every new stylist is prepared for a meaningful, well-supported, and future-focused hairdressing career. Andrea has extensively trained her team in color theory, blonding, technical mastery, and the artistry of building a lasting career behind the chair.
